¡Buenas noches amores! ¿Cómo lleváis el puente? Supongo que lo estaréis disfrutando al máximo y sobretodo que bien sienta un día más de fin de semana, porque a mi los findes se me pasan volando.
Hoy continuamos con mi viaje a Tailandia. Después de dos días en Bangkok cogimos un avión a Chiang Mai, que es una ciudad en el norte de Tailandia, cerca de las montañas. Cuando llegamos estábamos tan cansados después de haber tenido que despertarnos a las 4 de la mañana que decidimos ir a comer a uno de los platos típicos de la región, el Kow soy, y después nos fuimos a echarnos una siesta.
Good night loves! How is the long weekend going? I hope you're enjoying a lot and I think that with one more day of weekend you can do more things because the weekend goes by very quickly.
Today I continue with my explanation about my trip to Thailand. After two days in Bangkok, we took a flight to Chiang Mai, a little town in the north of Thailand. When we arrived, we were very tired because we got up at 4 a.m. Then we decided to eat one of the most typical plates of the town, Kow soy, and then we went to do a nap.
Por la tarde, decidimos conocer la ciudad dando un paseo alrededor de sus murallas y visitando algunos de sus templos como el Wat Phra Singh que es donde se encuentra la imagen de Buda más venerada, así como el Wat Chedi Luang que era el edificio más alto de Chiang Mai y hace años acogía el famoso Buda Esmeralda que actualmente se encuentra en Bangkok.
At the evening, we decided to visit the town doing a walk around the walls and visiting some of its temples like the Wat Phra Singh where you can find its most revered Buddha or the Wat Chedi Lang that was the tallest building of Chiang Mai and some time ago was the Emerald Buddha that nowadays you can find in Bangkok.
Al día siguiente alquilamos un taxi y decidimos a hacer un par de excursiones por los alrededores de Chiang Mai. La primera parada fue Baan Tong Luang Village donde se encuentran 4 tribus, entre ellas, las famosas mujeres jirafas. La verdad es impresiona bastante ver a estas mujeres con esos collares.
The next day we rented a taxi and we did some excursions near Chiang Mai. The first one was Baan Tong Luang Village that it has 4 tribus and the most famous is the giraffe women. See these women is very impacting.
Luego fuimos a ver las aguas termales de San Kamphaeng Hot Springs y a Bo Sang que es el pueblo donde se fabrican los famosos paraguas de papel pintados, tan típicos de los países asiáticos que utilizan para protegerse del sol.
After that, we went to San Kamphaeng Hot Springs and Bo Sang that is a village where made the famous paper umbrellas that are typical in the Asian countries.
Y por último, decidimos ir a ver uno de los templos más famosos de Chiang Mai que se encuentra en lo alto de una montaña, el Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, que fue uno de los templos que más me gustó.
At the end, we decided to visit one the most famous temples of Chiang Mai that is placed in the high of a mountain, the Wat Phra That Doi Suthep and it was my favourite one.
Antes de subir al templo, decidimos parar en un mirador para contemplar las maravillosas vistas de la ciudad.
Before to go to the temple, we did a stop in a viewing point to see the amazing views of Chiang Mai.
Al día siguiente cogimos una furgoneta con destino a Pai, donde pasamos otros dos días. Para conocer este pueblecito alquilamos una moto y visitamos el puente conmemorativo, el Coffee in Love, las fuentes termales y el cañon de Pai.
The next day, we took a van with destination to Pai where we spent two days. To visit this village, we rent a motorbike and we visit the commemorative bridge, the Coffee in Love and the Pai Canyon.
Pai fue uno de los sitios que más me gustó. Era un pueblo pequeñito en medio de las montañas, pero super tranquilo y con un montón de sitios que visitar.
Después de dos días en Pai, regresamos a Chiang Mai, ya que al día siguiente teníamos que volver a Bangkok. El domingo pudimos disfrutar de su famoso Sunday Walking Street con un montón de puestecitos para comprar recuerdos, ropa o comida.
Ese mismo día regresamos a Bangkok, ya que al día siguiente nos esperaba otro vuelo para conocer el sud de Tailandia.
Pai was one of the places that most liked me. It's a little village in a middle of mountains, very quiet and with a lot of places to visit.
After two days in Pai, we came back to Chiang Mai, because the next day we had to come back to Bangkok. On Sunday, we could enjoy the Sunday Walking Street with a lot of shops in the street to buy souvenirs, clothes or food.
The same day we took a flight to Bangkok, because on Monday we had a flight to visit the South of Thailand.
